“Remarkable example of baroque Austrian architecture. Unfortunately, due to it being Holy Week at the time of my visit, all images of Christ were covered in violent cloth. So if you wish to see Him in His marble glory, I advise to visit when He is visible. Also, the domed ceiling and its accompanying painting was obscured by a ridiculous squiggly modernist light display made by Cerith Wyn Evans, which though by itself is not ugly, in its hindering the view of the beautiful ceiling, makes for a rather ugly sight. The view from the terrace is fine—not entirely worth price of admission, but the interior more than justifies the…”
